Located at Dille, West Virginia, the Big Union Church was first organized on October 19, 1901. On October 27, 1916, the Big Union Church was dedicated as the Big Union Baptist Church. On November 16, 1926, the building was damaged by a flood and was moved to the present site, which was donated and deeded to the church by Mrs. M. M. Butcher.
