Part of the Mount Prospect Park District, Meadows Park consists of three baseball fields, a soccer field and a zero-depth swimming pool. Of the three baseball fields, two have home-run fences, lights and grass infields. As the center of youth baseball in Mount Prospect, crowds of hundreds will gather on summer nights to "watch the 8:00". During July the park host tournaments of youth travel teams from all over northern Illinois. Meadows is also a very good place to gather for watching the Fourth of July Fireworks set off at nearby Melas Park. Aside from baseball, Meadows also hosts a zero depth swimming pool recently built to replace the former Meadows Pool. The northeast corner of the park is also home to a youth soccer field.
