The 7 story Bartley Building was constructed in 1914 by grocery wholesaler R.A. Bartley. At that time it was considered to be the largest independent grocery warehouse in the U.S. By the 1940s the property was owned by Lamson Brothers and utilized as a warehouse for their department store.
In 2005 the building was converted into an upscale life style loft condominium with 52 units and a rooftop swimming pool.
