Robert Stewart’s, or Bob Stewart’s as it’s affectionately known by its regulars, is a charming country bar in the Lagan Valley. The sign states it’s been there since 1640. Bob Stewart’s is very close to the Lagan tow path and Lady Dixon’s park.The white washed facade and brick interior bedecked with olde memorabilia, seating snugs and a 1890s sign advising entering patrons to hand over daggers and cudgels while refraining from harassing the serving wenches, makes the bar feel like it hasn’t changed in hundreds of years.
