Dunmurry Golf Club is situated in Co Antrim just 10 minutes drive from both Belfast City Centre to the North and the City of Lisburn to the South. The course is easily accessible to visitors, located only 5 minutes from the M1 motorway. The 18 hole (par 70) parkland course lies adjacent to the River Lagan and offers an enjoyable yet challenging test of golf for players of all standards. At Dunmurry the golfer will enjoy some of the best playing conditions in Ulster.In 1983, Dunmurry Golf Club moved from its original location north of Dunmurry village to a site overlooking the River Lagan and adjacent to the Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park. With views up the Lagan valley to the south and north towards the Belfast Hills, the course merges into woodlands comprising the Lagan Valley Regional Park. Despite its recent construction, Dunmurry has matured quickly and now provides its members and visitors with some of the best playing conditions in the Belfast area. The 18 holes offer a variety of challenges, none more so than the par five 4th, requiring three accurate shots to reach an elevated and double-tiered green, the approach to which is well protected by mature trees.
