A former Jewish temple (Chernivtsi)

This temple was constructed at the end of the 19th century (1864(?)) in the Neo-Mauritanian style and destroyed during the Nazi occupation (1941-1944). In this building a famous opera singer Josef Schmidt used to sing in the choir. After World War II the Temple was rebuilt into a movie house.
