This is one of remaining segments of fortification of Historic city of Ahmedabad. This part has 12 round bastions and two gates; one an elaborate gate called Khanpur Darwaza while the other is just a small opening(Khidki). It has a beautiful texture of brick masonry in lime mortar. lined with hotels and shops on exterior side while residential houses in the innter side. Must visit area for Heriatge lovers.
