Thsi village is little progressive than other villages around. Direcly connceted by CSTC bus from Calcutta. Around 4 hopurs journey by bus. Also possile by train till Krishnanagar and then 45 minuite bus journey. There are 6 schools til Class 1O level and two of them are up to class 12 level. There is a state bank branch till 30 years. Atleast 20 percent people are educated. Poet Vijaylala Chottopadhaya was born in this village and he personaly developed the village following Tagore's theory (Shantiniketan) There is a branch of discrict librery at Shibir Para. Population around 7OOO.

  • before posting message you should be careful.. There are many wrong informations about this village. There are only 4 primary schools, 3 schools upto 10 th level (2 girls and one boys) among which one is upto 12 th level. At 11th and 12 th levels the school is co-educated. Moreover Kavi Vijaylal Chatterjee was not born at Bara Andulia. He was born at Krishnagar but lived at Bara Andulia.
