Lake Louisa

Largest southernmost and most upstream in Clermont chain of lakes. It is the 7th largest lake in Lake County with neighboring Minnehaha and Minneola making the 8th and 9th respectively.
Relatively shallow with it's floor mostly at 14 feet in depth, but it has two isolated places with a depth of 20 feet.

The roughly pear shaped Lake Louisa is unique in that it has white sand beaches despite it's blood colored water from the tannic acid in it.
It's surface is usually 98 feet above mean sea level.
The lake also has barrier island features along it's coast similar to the much larger ones on the Gulf and Atlantic coasts that are exposed during the dry season.
