Central Ferry State Park is located on the Snake River, known as the "Gateway to Hell's Canyon Recreation Area." The park is somewhat isolated and is in the middle of a wheat and cattle country. The camping area provides many beautiful views of the river. There are tent sites and full hook up R.V. sites. There is a large Group camping area and a beautiful Day Use area. Roads in the park are paved and all sites have picnic tables and firepots. There are 3 restroom buildings in the park, 2 with hot showers. The park has many trees and beautiful lawns. Activities include swimming beach, boat launch, boating, hiking and excellent fishing. Fall hunting is a benefit at the park as well. Central Ferry Park is managed by Northwest Land Management.
