Historic building constructed in stages in the first decade of the 20th Century, eventually covering an entire city block. Contained the DuPont world headquarters (now the Chemours Company), and the luxurious Hotel du Pont which opened in 1913 on the 11th St side, and the DuPont Theatre on the Market St side now known as The Playhouse on Rodney Square.
