Angelino Heights was developed by two men: Everett E. Hall and William W. Stilson. The two purchased land from Victor Beaudry (after whom Victor Heights is named) and started their own subdivision in March 1886.

Hall's Eastlake home was constructed here in 1887.

After falling on hard times after moving into his new home, Hall began selling off chunks of his property, which once stretched from Edgeware to Kellam, and finally the house itself. The former carriage house is now part of another property, located at 1417 Kellam Avenue.
