  There are four Durga temple in the vicinity of Udupi . Rajathaphetta is having four Durga temple & four Naga temple on outer periphery of 3 km radios. The ideal is of swayambuhu linga swarupa & worshiped as Bhagawathi shree Durgaparameshwari. The goddes is worshiped as gramadevathe. The pooja is done by Puttraya family since centuries together. Asta mattadhipathi visite the temple on every occasions. Navarthri is celebrated with daily CHANDIKKA homa & anna santharapanne. Sonnna & karthika masa celebrated by dipparadane, kukumarchane, kusumarchane etc.
