Valesul produces and it markets primary aluminum and leagues for the process industry. Installed in Santa Cruz, west side of the Rio de Janeiro city, started its operations in 1982.

With production around 100 thousand tons of aluminum a year, the company is today an important employer in the State, generating about 1.200 worksplaces.

It occupies a land of 800.000 m², and 90% of this area are composed by dense forest planted with species of the Atlantic forest, that guarantees the quality of the environment, besides pleasant well-being sensation for its collaborators and visitors.

It is located in the vertex of the axis Rio of Janeiro/São Paulo/Minas Gerais, close to Porto of Sepetiba, where it possesses own terminal for the disembarkation of the main raw materials used in its productive process.
