Apart from sports it is also used for shooting Bollywood movies. Many films have been shot in the complex and its stadium. It has also been rented for commercial entertainment programmes like the Star Screen Awards, Pop Music Concerts, Umang (Annual Show held for Mumbai Police and their families), CID Veerta Awards, Zee Rishtey Awards, Lycra MTV Award, Mi Marathi Awards, ITA Award, etc. On November 1, 1996, Michael Jackson had performed here as a part of his History World Tour. Several Charity organizations make use of the recreation centre.
