  • Ah! Kandi is my favourite place to go during my summer vacation as my Mama/Nani used to live in there. I remember, it was about 1-1.5 hours walk from Kandi to Dhunga village. I loved being in there and playing with all kids in Dhunga village. During the period 1991-92, the only inter college (12+ standard) was in Bhirgukhal for all Kandi guys/gals and Dhunga people. not sure what is the situation these days about the degree college but during that period everyone used to go to Kotdwar or Rishikesh for higher study. pushkar bhatkoti

  • I love my yamkeswer block. There is templ of mhadev, nilkanth mahadev, aamdi mandir,bhuvneswaridevi,ma vindhyawasni, kimsar mahadev, dharkot mahadev chond devi, timli mata bhuwneswari all is turist place.

  • I am originally from the (Ganga Salaan)ie. Vill- Dharkot,PO _Kimsar,Udaipur Patti,Paurigarhwsal. I only to say that our Danda Mandal, is the best picnic place and it can be merged in a lovely tourist place,because it is the gateway of Garhwal ie just 19 KM from Rishikesh and 25 KM from Haridwar. I love my birth place much and always miss it. I request to the CM UK to pay attention towards the main problem of Hills ie road,water and electricity which are not in satisfaction level in the state.
