Ruins of the Mediaeval Fortifications (15th century) (Lanciano)

The arch that one passes under in Via Dei Bastioni was probably part of the defensive wall that encircled the city in the Middle ages. Other traces can be seen along the road between St. Biagio's Gate and Diocletian Bridge, too.
