Dam on the Loire built between 1955 and 1957, downstream from Aurec-sur-Loire in Haute-Loire and upstream from Saint-just-Saint-Rambert in Loire. The dam is an arch dam in concrete and granite, whose function is to produce hydroelectric power and regulation of the river flow, it is also used as a crossing. The artificial lake it creates, the Lac de Grangent, has led to the creation of recreational activities downstream from Saint-Victor-sur-Loire where there are a sandy beach and river harbour
