SW Cheadle Development, named Cheadle Green Haven Estates.

A large housing development in SW Cheadle. The Development has partially been completed to Phase 1, but is on hold due to legal / financial issues. Phase 1 consists of 8 houses.

The development was to transform the scattered marsh and pond area into a large central pond, which will capture the flow from all the nearby water springs. The water flow would then channel into a stream which currently continues on to East Cheadle.

Part of the agreement was to also develop the South Boundary Road (TSR 240 / Cheadle Springs Drive) to divert the majority of traffic away from Railway Avenue, and directly to Highway 24.

The area is currently left as an Environmental disaster with scattered deep trenches filled with water, and small mountains of dirt everywhere.
