The Science Park Amsterdam is a centre for scientific research and higher education. The Amsterdam Internet Exchange is located here, as well as the University of Amsterdam Faculty of Science and several ICT-companies.
The area is still under development. In the near future all the beta faculties of the University of Amsterdam will be housed here. A new train station Amsterdam Science Park will be opened in December 2009.
