  Just a line to correct Mr Aranha's statement. Akkaya Heggadthi, daughter of Durgalxmi Heggadthi, the owner of Vorvady Property was married to Mr Belle Shamaraya Shetty, a renowned Headmaster who worked in several High Schools in the undivided South Kanara district of Karnataka. Vorvady House is still owned jointly by Akkaya Heggadthi's children and the children of Akkaya's elder sister Rajeevi. The annual rituals like Kola and Kambla of the tradional house is conducted every year by the joint owners of Vorvady Property.
