A society established in the late 19th century having about 350 families. It has a Ganpati festival which was started in the year 1916. This year is the 91st year of the festival. The festival is famous for being one of the very few festivals which are even today celebrated in the traditional way with the Ganpati idol being brought in a "palkhi" on the day of Ganesh Chaturthi.
