This very small MI unit would monitor all the Tactical Radio traffic of the Training Units while they would ARTEP (War Games - Red vs. Blue Teams). The idea was to see how much valuable information could be gathered and pieced together (like the enemy does) during the 3 day ARTEP. At the end of the exercise the Training Units' Commanding General received a briefing and was informed of the Unauthorized Codes that were broken (usually quite fast), unit locations (Tactical HQ's, Munitions Areas, Troop gathering areas, etc) that were exposed, Battle Plans and Classified Information that was compromised. Names of the guilty were never given because proper training was the goal. This unit did in training what all enemy units do in war, except nobody got killed.
