Mary Anderson Floating Vessel & BIWTA FerryTerminal

Mary Anderson is vessel turned into restaurant and also serve as BIWTA VIP ferry terminal. It is a nice tourist spot in Pagla Bazar area on Dhaka-Nayanganj road, a cool place to stay for a while. The restaurant run by Parjatan corporation has a bar. Rooms are available for overnight stay but charges are high- around Tk.3500/- (US$50) including drinks. Room can be hired for hourly basis also at about Tk.800/hour. One can hire a speed boat from there and have drinks in middle of river.
