Old fisherman's village. Tranquebar or Tharangambadi - "the town of singing waves" was a danish colony and trade place from 1620 to 1845. The town was "well preserved" until end of 1990's. Now new concrete buildings are built instead of some old buildings worth of preservation. Very bad idea.
