Six storey, 468 unit apartment complex constructed on the site of the former Bethesda Hospital.

Bethesda Hospital

The 24 bed hospital was opened in 1959 by the Missionary Health Institute as a treatment centre for Canadians, particularly missionaries, returning from overseas with tropical and rare diseases. Later its role expanded to include training for overseas workers in basic medical, dental, and nursing treatment. In 1968, Bathesda Hospital was one of the founding groups instrumental in the establishment of North York General Hospital.

  • The lower ground levels are like a cross between a dungeon and the hallways of the Overlook Hotel. Maybe even spookier!
  • It's nice, but we had to move out because our apt was infested with bugs. .. make that, the whole building is infested with bugs. Not to mention at least 2 apartments that have been sealed by the City of Toronto Health as being 'unfit for human dwelling'. Gross! Latah, BOGERT.
  • It is one of the worst places to live in. Do not rent any apartment from there. The management is like gangsters. They are rude and hard to get along with. On top of that there is hardly any maintantance for the buildings. I am so happy that I moved out. Honestly, learn from others' mistakes and do not fall into the same thing that I once had fallen.
  • It is ridiculous and difficult; I concur the management are like gangsters and they are completely unqualified to be managing the building. More importantly is the fact they have unqualified people doing the work around the building: I have leaking taps and was told, it doesn't matter, its fine. As well, he amount of mold growing in the concrete throughout the building is concerning. The problem is I love my particular apartment and the rent for the size is great; but, I hate getting to the apartment (the hallways are disgusting and the vandalism is outrageous). I found this site, as I'm trying to find out who actually owns the building to send my complaints to (getting no reply from the on-site management).
  • For all negative comments about Bogert. Come and look your self: new glass balcony new painting hallways, carpets, elevators The rent price it still better then any other buildings can offer .Apartments is large with balcony's huge walking closets ,brand new kitchen and washrooms with ceramic floors. Fully renovated. . It is biggest old property in North York, but with modern look.
  • This post is from manager. The building is cockroach infested.
  • I think you work for this building ! this is the worst building in the Toronto! the management act like Russian Mafia they don't fix anything! and if they do its not properly done so it keeps breaking it's dirty and the cleaning staff and the so called security only work around the office! I hated this place couldn't wait to leave this hell hole!

  • A HUGE 468 apt complex and ***** 1 ***** Handicap parking spot!!!! And wait for it.....***** 7 ***** Vistors parking spots. A TOTAL JOKE!!! Only good thing about this run down building is location. Because of tenants living on the lower ground level they keep the heat on till mid June! ! I visited a friend this past weekend and his place was like a steam bath. Moreover, in the winter his apt is freezing. I would avoid this run down dump like the PLAGUE!!
  • Hi torontonians, please if you are currently looking for place to rent please!!! Avoid this place. Or you can try stay warm at winter when there no heat in the unit. I personally has to call city of Toronto in order to get heater, but it is their responsibility to provide heater to every unit which out of heat. That what city representativ told me. Ceiling in the washroom collapsed, guess when? When my wife and 2 years old son came out of it right after. And yes I have kid who is only 2 and he was freezing during winter time. When my wife asked them in nice manor, if management can do anything about freezing cold, she has been advised to look for different place to live. We are paying for rent. I would love to move out of here, I soon as I get chance,
