The Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs was formed in 1924 and soon outgrew its space in Slocum Hall. The Maxwell Hall was designed c. 1934 by Dwight James Baum with the Office of John Russell Pope.
Today, The Maxwell School is housed in Maxwell Hall and the adjoining Eggers Hall, built in 1992.
