It opened on July 14, 1956, which since Cypress Gardens was shut down in 2009 is older than all the currently existing Florida theme parks.

It has a wishing well where money goes to charity.

  • I remember being here in the early 80's and all you could see were orange groves.
  • Welcome to Florida. Pave over the orange groves, then name the street "citrus avenue"
