A very old and picturesque temple surrounded by hilly plains and palar. Sri Sri Bindhu Madhavaswamy aka Varadaraja Perumal resides and blesses the people from this temple. After a war with a asura called "Thuthi", swamy resided in this village to satisfy the wishes of the same asura, after whom this village is named. This temple was renovated a decade ago with the whole-hearted effort and involvement by the local people.
Sri Swamy gives dharshan with Sridevi and Bhoodevi by his sides. There are seperate sannishis for Thaayar (Sri Mahalakshmi) and Andal. The mail sactum tower is surrounded by murthys like Sri Lakshmi narasimhar, Sri Hayagrivar, Vishnu Durgai etc., There is a seprate sannidhi for Chakrathalvar with Narasimhar and Sri Anjaneyaswami.
Annual Brahmotsavam during summer months, Purattaasi Utsavams, Navarathri adn Margazhi utsavams are celebrated with religious fervor and piety. Please visit the temple and get the blessings of Sri Bindhumadahvaswamy.
