lake, nature conservation park / area

The Kealia ponds are supposed to be a wildlife refuge, although there is a major road that runs through it, the main power generation facility for Maui is beside it, and it is surrounded by sugar cane fields. There is a nice raised board walk that runs through the wet land, although it was closed due in part to the nails in the boards not holding and also in part due to the lack of parking causing a hazard for motorists.
