The Palace was a small independently owned theater in Kannapolis, NC that opened in 1938. During segregation, it was the "black" theater. It was a small theater located across from the old "black" high school which is now gone, but replaced by Kannapolis Middle School. The theater closed in the fall of 1969. It is now a funeral home.
