In the former Camp Westerbork in Hooghalen this memorial was placed in the shape of the map of the Netherlands, where 102.000 stones have been made.
The monument is located on the former parade ground.
The stones are not all the same, some have a Star of David, a flame and some stone have a photo.
The 102.000 stones symbolize every Jew, Sinti or resistance fighter who was deported to Camp Westerbork and killed in World War II.
