A small general store, not a city of its own, at the end of some railroad tracks running west out of Yakima. Used for shipping produce and crops to the markets in Yakima. I bought a lot of $0.01 Tootsie rolls there in the 80's. Ahh, Good times!

  • As a boy in the mid to late 1940's I too enjoyed the occasional candy bar from the little store here. And I think I even remember my first bottle of Orange Soda came from this store. (I was born in LaGrande, OR in 1940. My folks moved here from Oregon in 1945-46.)
