Launceston, is a traditional market town, just off the main A30 at the eastern end of Cornwall, is known as the "Gateway to Cornwall". On the Devon and Cornwall border and between two Moors - Bodmin and Dartmoor, the town allows easy access to West Devon, the Tamar Valley and North and South Cornwall. Launceston Castle set on a large natural mound dominates the surrounding landscape.
