The Faculty Of Economics is the oldest faculty at Syiah Kuala University, founded on September 2nd 1959. In the early stages, this faculty was under the supervision of the University of Sumatra Utara, Medan. This Faculty was established to educate the people of Aceh on economics. Many graduate have been produce MBA currently working at governmental institutions an other economics institution, both in Aceh and in national and international levels. Currently, the fields of study available at the Faculty of Economics are Accounting, Management, and Development Studies. The Faculty of Economics has a computer laboratory to develop students performance in statistic, accounting and other economic-related core subjects.
