Transmission Station
Spread throughout the vast area you still find old antennas or vestiges of it.
This however are no detritus rests which have been neglected left behind, but the successive types of transmission installations which the RTT, Belgacom and the MoD had used there since 1923. Part of the installation is Remotely Controlled from "Ostend Radio Communications Services".

The military area is out of bounds, to people from the region it has thus something mysteriously. The large transmission masts are lighted in the evening and forming a well known beacon in the regions landscape. They have been very confessed and of far visible.
