Trinity High School is a AAA school district in the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL) (PA Iinterscholastic Athletic Association District 7). Hiller Stadium hosts football and boys and girls soccer and lacrosse. The stadium was one of the first to have an artifical surface in the WPIAL.

Trinity School District serves South Strabane, North Franklin, Canton and Amwell Townships in Washington County, PA. The school district's biggest historic rivals are Washington and Canon McMillan (Canonsburg). Washington High School and Trinity High School are within sight of each other, but the rivalry as declined in recent years due to differing enrollment sizes. Canon McMillan is a neighboring school district to the north with a similar enrollment and a long standing rivalry between the two school's strong wrestling programs.
