Logan's Landing Depot (Logansport, Indiana)

USA / Indiana / Logansport / Logansport, Indiana / E. Melbourne Ave, 400
 museum, interesting place, train station

The Logan's Landing Depot was originally a Vandalia Railroad yard office and never a depot at all. The Depot currently stands on the former site of the grand Pennsylvania Depot that was raised in the late 1960's.

The depot was moved from it's original site two hundred yards to the east to it's current location in 1982.

The depot is a fine example of late 19th century stick built (Queen Anne)construction.

Built in the 1870's, the depot has all of it's original details, and was designated as a Local Historic Single Site Historic District in 2008.

The depot currently houses the Logan's Landing Main-Street Association, the Cass County Arts Alliance, and the Iron Horse Railway Museum.
