Looking at older aerial photos from the '70's this is where a huge dump tank used to be. Basically a large cement tank with a massive wall behind it painted as the sky that was used to film models or other things.

In 1997 the entire town of Pleasantville was built at this location for the film Pleasantville (1998). This set was used for most of the principle outdoor scenes of the main town.

  • The actual tank was located on the lower left part of the parking lot. You can see where the area used to be squared off. The parking lot filled the tank in and built the remaining lot to the upper-right.
