Sanchi is a serene hill crowned by a group of stupas, monasteries, temples and pillars dating from 3rd century BC to 12th century AD. These remains are the oldest built heritage of India from historical period.

This is Sanchi Hill which is a archaeological site. Sanchi Monuments are located on this Hill. A historical place in Madhya Pradesh near Vidisha. Sanchi is famous for Buddhism Holy place and “Stupas” (a hindi term) made by Ashoka the Great.
