Bailey's Wye is a great railfan place. A good percentage of CSX's trains pass through here, MARC is busy during the weekday rush hours, and the Light Rail goes over every few minutes.
Bailey's Roundhouse, a 24 stall roundhouse built in 1875 for passenger train engines, was in the center of Bailey's Wye. The roundhouse was dismantled in 1953.
