Kronewerk of Peter and Paul's fortress - currently Museum of Artillery, Sappers and Reconaissance.
The Artillery, Engineer and Signal Troops Museum was founded by Peter the Great in 1703. Today it has over 850,000 exhibits. In the museum yard and in the street outside, ther are over 200 guns, self-propelled artillery armored vehicles and missile launchers. The museum is one of the biggest military museums in the world; it is located in Kronwerk, a separate fort of the SS Peter and Paul Fortress.
