Palace Square (Saint Petersburg)

Russia / Sankt Petersburg / Saint Petersburg
wi-fi, place with historical importance, pedestrian area, invisible, UNESCO World Heritage Site, historic town square, object of cultural heritage of federal importance (Russia)

The main square of St. Petersburg. The tower of the Admiralty is the focal point of the roads, the tourist or pedestrian might get the impression that this square and its focal point, Alexander Column, is the public focal point of the vicinity and, as the center of the Capitol of the old Empire, the place of much history. Of course, it is analogous to the Red Square in Moscow and the big event here each year is the Victory Day Parade on May 9, just like in Red Square.

This is a brief tour of a professional computer model of the square and surrounding buildings.
