A school on top of the mountains. Produces world class students. Consistently, it has been excelling in health and religious education. Mountain View College was established in 1953 by American missionaries. It occupies an area of 1024 hectares, and operates two hydroelectric plants within its property. Most of its area is used as pasture land for the 400 heads of cattle it owns. The rest of the area is used for sugarcane and corn. These are only some of the over 30 work departments in MVC which provide students the opportunity to complete their education as Working Scholars. Only a small portion of its property is used for school buildings. Also within its property can be found the Malingon Falls, the Twin Falls, and the Cascading Falls. It has six schools: Agriculture, Arts and Sciences, Business, Education, Nursing, and Theology. It also offers a number of short-term TESDA courses. The average semestral enrolment is about 2,500. It operates a 1,200-seat cafeteria which serves only vegetarian food.
