Varovychi village was located 20 km from the district center Poliskr (Khabne), and 12 km from the railway station Vilcha. The village is known since the first half of the 18th century. The village was the ancient Church of the Holy Martyr Parascovia. The church was built in the first half of the 18th century. In 1906, in the village of Varovychi it was built and lit a new, Dukhovskaya Holy Church, to which were attributed to the village Kovshylivka, mining and Varovytska Buda (Buda-Varovychi).
