In 1874, Kappa Alpha Theta was the first sorority established at Butler. The CASA Cup is an annual campus-wide event featuring a soccer tournament and a fraternity competition to raise money for Court Appointed Special Advocates, the sorority's national philanthropy. CASA provides abused and neglected children in the court system with an advocate to ensure that the child's rights and needs are being attended to, and remains with the child until he or she is placed in a permanent and loving home.
