A smadh named after Baba Balraj, a local saint, and it is held in great esteem by the people of the area. A school was started in the memory of Baba Balram in 1922, which was raised to the status of senior secondary school. A fair is held here annually on the following day of Diwali when wrestling bouts are arranged. Besides, a large number of people visit the smadh every Thursday to pay their homage
