Large park donated to the people of Glasgow by the Maxwell family. In the park is the famous Burrell collection, and Pollok House. There are a number of other attractions, these include the herd of highland cows (coos if your frae Glasgae). The gardens beside Pollok house are well worth a visit. The countryside rangers also arrange a number of events throughout the year.
Two of the national cycle paths run through the park. Glasgow city council have recently added several tracks for mountain bikers to try.
