This tower mill was probably built in the early 19th century but could possibly be late eighteenth century. It was unusually short with only three storeys and worked until 1950 when one arm broke off the cross. It was dismantled in 1953, two of the sails being taken to Heckington mill. There were four patent sails driving one pair of French and one pair of grey stones. The tower was converted into a clubhouse in the 1970's when it gained an additional storey, giving it an appearance similar to that at Bilsby.
