  • My grandfather,s home is just opposite Boys High School.My father,uncles and aunties(in primary and secondary classes) studied in this school.They talk very well of this great school which has produced many famous personalities in different walks of life.Whenever I go to my grandparnets house at Perumbavoor, I make it sure to visit the school and school ground and watch the local students and people play.IEventhough I now stay at some other place,I Like Perumbavoor very much. ====ADITYA.V

  • I belong to Perumbavoor (Kanjirakkad) and studied upto Xth Std in Govt. BHS, PBR - passed out during March 1968. We had VIII onwards English medium studies in all Division-A. However, the text books of Science, Social Studies and Maths though in Malayalam, had prints in English words also. Therefore even after my school studies and I went out of Kerala, I never faced difficulties for higher education. 'Mahatma Hindi Vidyalam' also gave very good contribution to my life. The teachers of those days in our school - I have no words to express my respects to them - completely devoted their time and energy for educating and guiding us; however their punishment was also cannot be foregotten. Whenever I visit my home town, I go to my school, make a round in the buildings, pray for some time before I visit the Ayyappa temple. I wish every person to respect their educational institution with utmost respect more than any temple. I have an ambition to meet all my friends of those days in the school on any convenient time.
